Crafted from a single piece of the wood of Mediterranean Olive trees that are no longer productive or fruitful, these utensil holders do not retain odours, germs or stains. The trees have hardened by decades of Mediterranean heat making the wood extremely strong and durable. The wood is then hand crafted in Tunisia by skilled craftsmen.
Due to the nature of olive wood and the manufacturing process, each olive wood product has its own unique markings and variations in wood grain and texture and colouring. No two are identical, therefore actual product received may differ slightly from those pictured.
• Hand wash only - never put wood in the dishwasher.
• Clean with a soft sponge, warm water and soap.
• Dry with a soft cloth after cleaning.
• It is recommended to apply a coat of high grade Olive Oil to the piece occasionally to prevent drying of the wood.
• Avoid soaking in water, or exposure to heat or sunlight.
